Welcome

Dear Reader,

Well first of all, this is the inaugural post for this new blog. So some celebration is in order that you, dear reader, have found your way here. This blog is going to be a conglomeration of the things that I have found and continue to find beautiful and interesting. I hope it gives you ideas for projects or introduces you to places and people you didn't know. I also hope it makes you laugh, since humor is what keeps me from sinking down into the soft pillows of my bed and becoming a hermit who watches nothing but old episodes of Firefly all day.

A bit about me, in case you are wondering: I am an English Masters Student who lives in Boston, MA.

This is me on a really good day, with a new haircut and an Instagram filter that cures all flaws:

I love literature, as you might be able to guess from the whole English Masters student nonsense. I am a big believer in stories and a lot of the things I post here will be about stories that I am caught up in. I hope that some of that finds its way into your own reading/watching/viewing/listening life.
